China's growth produces change and change enables new learning. As long as China can deliver on the commitments it has made to the world and domestically, the world can then consider how China can contribute to global trade and the global economy and shoulder the major responsibilities that those commitments entail. The current news story was about how China helped search for the missing Malaysian plane. Of great importance is how organizations around the world tried to help, which was perfect timing for a horrible tragedy. If we accept China, the people will also witness democracy. Without the consent of its own people, the Chinese government cannot prevail. If people see and feel the effects of democracy, then the chances of achieving world peace will be greater.
