Essay / (Medical Support Technician - Automated): A...
(Medical Support Technician - Automated)The Medical Support Technician - Automated is a robot produced by US Robots to help reduce overload and supplement medical practices. In today's world, we have reached a point in civilization where free, or at least affordable, healthcare is a necessity for all. With the addition of Automated Medical Assistance Technician or Mat to all private doctors and/or public hospitals, Mat will be able to significantly reduce medication costs. Why is that you might ask? The reason is that doctors and nurses are paid a significant amount of money to do their job, which is normal because they have a lot of education, experience and stress. With Mat, however, you don't have to pay him anything and he doesn't need a break. So if you replace Doctors and Nurses with Mat's, you won't need to play for as many employees, this will make healthcare affordable for everyone with little pesky government intervention. In short, if you want an affordable healthcare plan with all the features you're already accustomed to, Mat is your man. However, you may be wondering how can one type of robot accomplish all the task required of both a nurse and a doctor. a doctor? Well, the short answer is that it's not possible, it would be impossible for anyone or anything to do. As a result, US Robots has created three Mat models that can be used in different ways. The basic model is the MAT-A1 or Mat 1. The Mat 1 is your standard with no real features and a basic brain. This robot is capable of everything a registered nurse can do, but it does it faster and with more precision. We then move on to MAT-A2 or Mat 2. Mat 2 is more like a doctor than a capable nurse...... middle of paper ...... Namely, as a doctor, you need people skills and compassion you can't have a robot that just says "Hello Mr. Smith, my scan says you have cancer and it is terminal, you are 3 months old." ยป You need someone who can feel empathy for another human being and who knows what it's like to jump out at life and slap them in the face. Another problem this could pose would be if a terminally ill patient told a doctor to let them die. Mat would cause a conflict between the first and second laws of robotics. The robot must obey the order of the human who requests euthanasia or refuses medical treatment, but in doing so it would violate the first law which does not allow it to harm a human, directly or indirectly. There are therefore indeed some problems with MAT-A but their involvement in the medical field still presents a considerable benefit...
