  • Essay / The Healthy Way - 1196

What some Americans like about health and others don't. As we look at the world around us, we see that there are more people in poor health than, say, fifty years ago. Back then there were smaller portions and fewer cars (if any). We walked to our destination and managed to hunt and gather. As a society, we were much more active in the 1900s than in the 2000s. Today, we no longer need to hunt or gather, we have cars to take us everywhere, and more often than not we let's sit around and have everything we want and desire...Except one thing that only some people aspire for, to be fit and healthy, to have a hunter/gatherer type body. But how did we become so unhealthy? And above all, how to get out of it? One of the reasons we got to this point is because it's not entirely our fault, our genetics predetermine our weight, our health, the way we are raised by our parents and the hormones they given to us to make. us as we are. We live our lives so differently from each other that everything is different for everyone. Are we eating the necessary food? Are we getting enough exercise for our body type? All of this will be determined by how we live, how we live and what work we want in this life. Last but not least, do our hormones have much to do with how we eat, what we eat, and how often we eat? As we grow, from childhood to adulthood, our hormones take control of how we act and the things that happen to us during puberty. They could certainly have control over the way we eat. Losing weight isn't easy, and it's even harder when your genes are working against you. Many different genes affect the way your body functions, but one...... middle of paper ...... daily life and health that we heard about yesterday is old news, because the health that we hear about today is becoming the health fad. Our heredity determines how we eat and we have discovered one of the genes that determines our weight. Because APOA2 will be the next generation because exercise will quickly become a part of the old generation, the one we live in now. It may not go away, in fact, the things we keep from the past will always be the right way forward, but who said we move forward? For all we know, we could go backwards. The more we as a society watch television, the more importance we place on the best way to change all of this is to get outside more, hike, swim, bike. we put ourselves in our body, we have to be the ones who take us and make it a nice place to live because we will live there all our lives.
