Assertiveness will prevent us from being exploited by others. A nurse leader must assert herself and make the right decisions. Constructive feedback can reduce criticism and help build trust. When I speak and make my point clearly, I gain the attention span of the recipient. This also helps reduce confusion or dilemma of the topic of conversation. Conclusion Practicing or knowing how to communicate effectively in life is very important to gain the trust of others and also to avoid being exploited by others. Effective communication and assertiveness can provide a positive approach to life and make people happy and satisfied in life.
