In today's society, children's fathers to school psychologists are now caught using child pornography. The crime of child pornography has become a very serious situation and has resulted in 4,000 arrests, 1,600 people charged and 1,200 convictions. New technologies create opportunities to do the work customers want to do, such as helping police detect crimes on the Internet. Child pornography arrests have increased significantly with the help of technology in today's society, with the help of online chat rooms, high-tech based police work and simple white van. One of the biggest concerns around the world with the problem of child pornography is new and improved online chat rooms. “As surfing the Web becomes increasingly easier, computing costs fall and technology proliferates, and intimate chat rooms on the Internet become progressively more user-friendly and accessible to young people, serious problems are inevitable » (Schultz 1). The problems related to this discussion topic are gradually increasing day by day. One of the main reasons why these problems are getting worse every day is the increase in technology in today's society. The article “On-line Vigilantes Hunt Pedophiles” explains what catching predators in online chat rooms actually looks like and what the consequences of the crimes are (Schultz). The Internet Task Force, also known as Vigilante Website Perverted Justice, is capable of catching these minors and criminals, like criminal Ray Dooley. Internet Task Force agents pretended to be a fourteen-year-old girl, Rachel from Harper Woods, and caught the man in full view of the crime, as he attempted to meet Rachel for sex .
