    “In international business contexts, terms such as “success”, “preparation”, “meetings”, “punctuality”, etc. can mean different things to different people” ( Berardo, 2007). We need to consider what each of these words means to us and the differences in what they may mean to our international trading partners. For us, punctuality means we are either on time or early where we need to be. However, for an international associate, this may mean arriving within the first 30 minutes of the workday but not being considered late until 45 minutes later. an hour has passed. Be specific. Deadlines must be clearly indicated. We need to be specific when we want something submitted. If we just say, "Give it to me when you finish it," that doesn't give the information the person needs to complete it when you want them to. Instead, you must provide a specific time and date for the information to be transmitted.
