When people think of college football powerhouses, what teams come to mind? Alabama, Florida, Auburn, LSU and Georgia. What do all these college football powerhouses have in common? They all belong to a “super conference” known as the Southeastern Conference, the SEC. Many claim they are overrated, but there is plenty of evidence to show that they are a force to be reckoned with, and will be for years to come. With the coaching, recruiting and facilities they have, it's hard to question the SEC's dynasty. In years past, the SEC has won the BCS National Championship seven years in a row. If that doesn't send a message, what will? A conference does not bring in seven championship titles by chance. This conference is home to some of the best recruiting in the entire country. The SEC has 6 teams in the top 10 for recruiting this year. The number one recruit in the country, Leonard Fournette has committed to play at LSU. Of the top ten recruits in the country, six of them are committed to SEC teams. The SEC has 38 players committed to play, while the second-placed conference has only twelve. The numbers don't lie, it's clear the SEC is doing something right, it's hard to argue with that with the rate at which these teams are recruiting young talent. The SEC has so much to offer that it's hard for players not to be drawn to the conference. The SEC takes pride in its football unlike other schools that try to be good at everything. The SEC offers all the most modern and up-to-date tools for rookies to become future NFL stars. The SEC had another stellar bowl season this year.
