    It is amazing to see first hand the electronic and digital technology we had 15 years ago compared to what we have today. Society knew this new technology was coming, but they never thought it would be so immediate here, where everyone and their grandmothers would have some form of it. It is astonishing that a large number of individuals hate this new era where technology is omnipresent and taking over. Most of them, who do not like electronic or digital technology, still tend to discourage it by saying that it causes a "lack of social skills", that it is a "constant distraction" and that it it can sometimes become an “addiction”. Personally, I think it's a good thing that we have all these new digital/electronic technologies because 1) they allow us to improve our daily lives, 2) connect us on a global scale, 3) allow us to find out more. on topics related to our fields, allowing us to broaden our knowledge and 4) above all it allows us to have unlimited access to information. “Every once in a while, a revolutionary product comes along that changes everything. ... You're very lucky if you manage to work on just one of them during your career. Apple was very lucky to be able to introduce a few of these into the world. Said by Steve Jobs. Mr. Jobs announced the first iPhone on January 9, 2007. When this was announced, it instantly changed the world before our eyes because there was now a new electronic technology that would grant us the right to move forward in our lives. One of the reasons why this new electronic technology allows society to improve daily life is that it has helped us to be more punctual over time. Moreover, another case of how this new electronic technology has improved...... middle of paper ...... because we are humans, we are all addicted to something, whether it is for for better or for worse. Overall, this new age digital/electronic technology gives us the opportunity to learn any subject we want in our fields, enables us to improve our daily lives, connects us globally and, above all, it gives us incalculable access to information. So, since this new age technology is helping us so much to improve our lives, would you like to start sending letters again and hope that they arrive within a day?
