  • Essay / Go Vegan: A Diet Rich in Plant-Based Foods - 1091

According to vegansociety.com, “Veganism represents a philosophy and way of life that seeks to exclude, wherever possible and feasible, all forms of exploitation. and cruelty to other animals for food, clothing, or any other purpose; and promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of humans, other animals and the environment. » People who follow this lifestyle are called vegans. The vegan diet is more of a lifestyle choice and philosophy than just a diet. Vegan living is the best way to live because it is healthier, protects the environment and is more animal friendly. Vegan living is healthier because the nutritional benefits are better than those of a non-vegan diet. The majority of people around the world eat a diet consisting of foods of animal origin. Those who follow an animal-based diet follow such a diet because of the well-known nutritional benefits and taste that accompany this diet. Although most people have been told that such a diet is healthy, they would not follow it if they knew the harms associated with it. In addition, many people know that they need fruits, vegetables and grains, according to the well-known nutritional table. However, some people do not know that animal foods are not necessary and that there are other, healthier foods to replace them. Vegan diets follow dietary needs without consuming foods from animals by replacing nutritional benefits from animals with plant-based foods that also have the same nutritional benefits. A vegan diet is a diet rich in plant-based foods.
