Essay / An Essay on A Vindication of Women's Rights effect considerably improved. However, even though their situation has improved and they now enjoy the same equal rights as men, not all women benefit from these rights. A fraction of women still care more about their own physical beauty, appearance and the prospect of finding a husband than anything else. Moreover, some of the more youthful women will sometimes even go so far as to act stupid, thinking they will attract the affection of men; while others are so obsessed with their appearance that they don't even need to act to be received as idiots or idiots, and it is this minority of women who continue to hinder the role of women in society as a whole. . However, this does not mean that most women have not taken advantage of these rights, establishing themselves as equals to men at school, work and at home. Compared to 1792, in which A Vindication of the Rights of Woman was written by Mary Wollstonecroft, women's rights have improved significantly. During Wollstonecroft's era, women were unwittingly oppressed by men for years due to a lack of education and operant conditioning that taught them to be nothing other than attractive, elegant and essentially subordinate to men; making independent thoughts or the use of personal reason a rare occasion among women of this age. It was because of this lack of education that most women of the time were unable to recognize the servile roles they were forced into; adhering to the aristocracy of man, who described their ignorance as “innocence.” Wollstonecroft, being one of the few, except middle of paper, to believe as he gets older. If the twig is bent, trees tend to grow that way as well. For example, teaching our sons that they were better than our daughters, and teaching our daughters that they were supposed to be pretty, elegant and submissive to men; then, by means of a self-fulfilling prophecy, we made it come true. However, if we teach them to be equal from birth, and one is not better than the other; within a few generations, this belief will become a societal norm. It is this change that must occur before women are one day considered by all men as true equals of man, and not just as equals on paper, otherwise men's ignorance will always be right of us, and a fool of a man will always claim that women are submissive to men, even though in reality there is no difference between us.
