As a student, I know the expenses too well and seeing that, I think the solution lies in online classes. Jeremiah Tsyporin's Mega University debates whether Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are favorable compared to traditional education. He states that “MOOCs offer a quick fix: easily accessible, free, high-quality education” (Tsyporin 345). I think the biggest problem MOOCs solve is one that most college students face every year: oversubscription. Online courses would allow students to take the courses they need without having to wait an additional term or semester, saving us time and money.
