    These differences are seen in the way each creation story describes how the Earth and all its quantities are created. In The Metamorphoses, a god uses the existing being, Chaos, to create the earth, as we see with "this god (whoever he was) had given form to Chaos, by dividing it into parts which he arranged, he modeled the earth in the shape of an enormous globe. (Ovid 1077) went on to create Earth features such as oceans, lakes, mountains, and forests. In Enuma Elish, there is a lot of detail in explaining the origins of how the earth was created because Marduk killed Tiamat and then used her corpse to form the Earth and its sky, which he then populates the Land of animals and humans. In Genesis 1 and 2, God creates the Earth and everything in it from nothing. He creates the Earth in seven days, on the first day he creates the heavens and the earth, on the second day he creates the sky, on the third day he creates the earth, on the fourth day he creates the stars and other celestial bodies such as the moon and sun, on the fifth day he creates all animals that live in water, on the sixth day he creates all animals that live on earth, including humans, and on the seventh day, "the heavens and the earth were completed,” then he rests.
