In the United States, the average teenager is exposed to more than 40,000 advertisements per year on television, and almost all of them negatively target the adolescent's image. A quarter of a trillion dollars is spent on advertising each year. The tobacco industry, arguably the most powerful cynical influence, spends approximately $30 million on advertising in a single day and its ads directly target and impact adolescents from the moment they are born at age 13. (Dolan 1) 3,000 teenagers try their first cigarette per day. and this represents 1,095,000 adolescents per year. There is nothing beneficial about cigarettes and there are new young users every day. At the age of 13, the human body reorganizes and begins the development of the adult body. Smoking will ruin this process and be the end of your maturation and cause your body to malfunction. Cigarette companies like Newport often portray teenagers and young adults in seductive ways. The Newport adverts show young people as rambunctious and carefree as possible without showing the real dangers of this. smoking; There is a small warning box at the base of the ads, which isn't visible unless you're looking for it and is in no way intimidating. Even after seeing the warning box, the viewer is still attracted, interested and curious, some may even do so. anticipate that cigarettes will develop a better life, perhaps hoping that they can be cheerful, just like that guy in that Newport commercial who probably never smoked a cigarette. Teenagers are unaware of the increased risk of lung cancer, heart disease and emphysema, yellow teeth, skin and nails, bad breath, constant presence of phlegm, odors on almost everything, irritating cough, fatigue without doing much physical activity, migraines.
