INTRODUCTIONNowadays, when people start their own businesses, the majority of them have a common vision which is to see their company's products or services being purchased all over the world . Some people wear clothes just to look good, but others would prefer to own clothes made from imported materials, or rather imported clothing products. Most of the products we use in South Africa are either marked that they have been manufactured in another country or that they have been manufactured in South Africa from imported materials. People are able to do all of this thanks to modern means that allow them to conduct international trade. The collective term used to describe this process is globalization. Globalization is described as the process of interaction and integration between people, businesses and governments of different nations. This process is driven by international trade and investment and facilitated by information technology. This process impacts the environment, culture, political systems, economic development and prosperity, and human physical well-being in societies around the world. ADVANTAGES OF GLOBALIZATION Globalization brings competition With the ability of organizations to distribute their products globally, there is an increase in tie-up with other organizations in the world and this company would like to attract more customers than other companies and customer needs are taken into account. This benefits customers and the economy and improves everyone's standard of living. Prices become more reasonable and the quality level of products improves.
