    Malaysia Intellectual Property CooperationThe Malaysian Intellectual Property Cooperation (PHIM) was established with the implementation of the Malaysian Intellectual Property Act 2002. The division enforced new laws such as Industrial Designs Act 1996, Integrated Circuit Layout Designs Act 2000. 1999 and the Geographical Indications Act 2000 came into force in 2001. This division was expected to respond positively to developments in intellectual property nationally and globally, so it was corporatized and recognized as the Property Company Intellectual Property of Malaysia (PHIM). .
