Don Marquis has a restrictive view of abortion. He first declares that the killer, most likely the mother, will be considered a brutalizer. Then there will be effects on victims such as families, loved ones and friends. Finally, there will be an effect on the person killed since they feel that the killer will take away all their future experiences. This is absolutely not true and no one should be able to call a mother a brutalist. The mother resorts to abortion rather than endanger her life or let her child go through a lifetime of problems. She should not be called a brutalist. There will be an effect on the victims like families, relatives and friends as they will feel really hurt to see the baby suffering. The family would feel physiological harm if they rejected the mother's opinion to seek abortion due to a health problem. The father may be very paranoid and afraid about how to raise a mentally or physically ill child. Some parents sometimes even give up and have them aborted because they feel that the responsibility of raising a sick child is really great. So if parents are really nervous in this difficult situation, they should be able to have an abortion so as not to face this difficult experience.
