Essay / Ethanol production should not take place - 1435
Every day we consume some form of energy. Energy through food, energy through heat to keep us warm, and energy as fuel. And I mean gasoline, gasoline is a necessity that keeps our infrastructure and our economy running. However, the price of this necessity has increased from one dollar to three dollars, and with this comes our continued fight against global warming. For this reason and more, the State of the Union is addressing the 20 by 10 plan, which is a 20% reduction in gasoline consumption within ten years. And fill this gap by using alternative fuels such as ethanol. Although the 20 by10 plan may be beneficial for the implementation of alternative fuels. On the one hand, the production of ethanol would be harmful to us in the fight against global warming, it is not profitable, and thirdly, it is not as effective as those who have already thought about ethanol. How is it that such a fuel can be considered a green fuel when it is not effective in our fight against global warming? How come a fuel that seems cheaper than gasoline is not cheaper than gasoline? And why is it that in many situations ethanol is not as effective as some previously thought? These are some of the points being discussed today. And they fall into three categories. Environment, Cost and EffectivenessThe pros and cons are based on these categories and more. But when it comes to the facts and figures presented, the negatives overshadow the positives. And ethanol production should not take place. How is ethanol production harming our environment? It's the impact on the environment and the impact on us. The first point that favors the pressure of ethanol on our environment is the fact that it reduces the amount of carbon particles that we admit into the atmosphere. The more carbon particles we have in the atmosphere, the more our radiation is trapped and the more energy returns to us, and therefore global warming. Likewise, if you produce ethanol, that is a fuel that we are allowed to grow and harvest again. . This means that we control the carbon carmine cycle. However, as Dan Becker, manager of the Sierra Club's global warming program, says, "Ethanol could be an environmental disaster in many ways." ยป..
