    The most influential decade on the contemporary world was the 1920s because of the contribution to transportation technology, the advantage of credit and the change in freedom of women. The 1920s were a time of change in America. There we introduced many new concepts into the daily lives of American citizens, and with that, the 1920s were the most important years for America. Advances in transportation technology, credit, and women's freedom gave people the independence they needed. In the 1920s, Flapper Girls were women who changed the way they dressed by wearing shorter skirts, changed the way they lived by partying more often and taking These actions changed the way women women were perceived in America. For some people in the 1920s, their opinion of flappers was: "Flappers are a disgrace to society because they are lazy pleasure seekers who are only interested in drinking, partying and flirting. » (Issues and Controversies in American History, 1). Negative opinions formed towards them because changing so radically in such a short time threatened society. Although flapper girls weren't popular with everyone, many of their courageous choices have influenced the way American women live today and the way they are perceived. The Flapper Girls were so important in American history because they opened many doors for women. The Flapper girls took a stand in favor of women and wanted to be treated equally with men. They started dressing however they wanted wearing their short skirts and shiny jewelry to stand out. They cut their hair short to give themselves a more masculine appearance and contrast with their sexy outfit. To the human eye, Flapper girls were simply different from the appearance of women. The introduction of debt was so important in American history because it was what brought about the Great Depression for Americans. There was no more money in people's pockets to support their families. So, in a way, there is a chance that Americans will lose everything they had by spending too much, which has humiliated today's American citizens. It's not easy to speak for everyone, but it taught people that spending too much when you don't have enough is not the logical thing to do..
