Search Draft of Flannery O'Connor "A Good Man is Hard to Find" Flannery O'Connor is a Southern author who writes about very violent and strange stories. O'Connor establishes an indispensable writing style that captures the reader's feelings and emotions. This article will identify some of the hidden emotions and state of imagination of the author to keep the reader in suspense. This story is clearly more about the grandmother expressing her point of view from start to finish. The grandmothers discuss her role and religious experience when she meets the Misfits. I think all the reviews will focus on the grandmother in order to identify all the problems and have a religious connection with God. O'Connor focused on the human problem and uses witty words to connect the character of the grandmother with everyone. This family takes advantage of the traditional vacation that families have every year to show off their daily problems, attitudes, and emotions on a road trip. O'Connor uses Southern language to tell his story. I think the grandmother uses different types of language to express her thoughts and feelings. The author pushes the audience to feel the grandmother's pride when it comes to identifying what she wants. O'Connor shows how dominant the grandmother is when she does a great job of persuading the family to go where they want to go. This is a perfect example of the amount of manipulation used by the grandmother throughout the story. I think O'Connor is using a new expression of his Christian view of his life. His stories are traumatic and usually end in a lot of violence or physical death. I think she integrates Grandma's feeling, from fear to trembling prayer, to a spiritual connection to her religious belief. This story shows an important purpose...... middle of paper ...... hey, they left the path and put them into a spiritual change in life. The grandmother shows her faith in Jesus. The whole time she was with the Misfits. When the grandmother knew she was going to die, she started preaching to the Misfits to let her live. However, I think the grandmother didn't really believe that she was just playing her usual role. The black vehicle symbolized the death of the family. The theme is supported throughout the story and Jesus helps support the theme. The direction of this story follows good and evil with a criminal situation that is destined to happen. I think the Misfits will be punished, but I would have loved to read that in this story. The grandmother's hope in God seemed to be coming to an end. Flannery O'Connor takes her reader through a difficult time to understand the theme of our society and its constant evolution..
