Essay / Predicting Clean Coal Product Using Mathematical Models
1. INTRODUCTION 1.1 COAL WASHING PLANT The washing plant is fed by a 100 T bin equipped with a vibrating feeder to facilitate and facilitate the flow of coal onto the conveyor belt 18-31. The bin can be filled up to 80T; above, it overflows through the chute connected to its side. Below 30T, the tank is locked so as not to supply the washing installation in order to prevent the coal and the coating of the tank from being subjected to shocks causing damage and excessive generation of fines. The maximum feeding speed of the vibrating feeder and belt capacity is 200 t/h. Coal from conveyor belt 18-31 is fed onto a feed preparation screen. To suppress dust and sieving effects, pressurized water from the magnetic separator effluent chute is used. The oversized screen (-75+6mm) is fed into the DMS drum while the lower screen (-6mm), also called fines, goes to the effluent tank. The slurry is pumped to the desliming cyclone to recover the water and coal. The overflow from the cyclone is pumped to the thickener where the solids gravitate to the bottom. The thickening slurry is then pumped to the filter press where a filter cake will be produced. The water recovered from the filter press is recycled to the thickener. The cyclone underflow is dehydrated on a screen and combined with the coal pits (+32 mm) to the thermal stock via conveyor 18-33. The particles of +6 mm as well as the medium are transported to the Wemco 200 t/h drum. The average density, which varies from 1.42 to 1.55 t/m³, can be regulated depending on the quality of the coal fed and produced. Coal with a bulk density of 1.0 t/m³ is expected to float while the gangue sinks, but due to the close density of the material it is possible for the gangue to relate to the float (or the scrap to be displaced ). Inside the drum is a lift that picks up all the sinks and drops them into the laundry room. He is then directed to a launderer lying on a screen. The screen drains the concentrated medium of the coal from the sinks. The medium is rinsed from the carbon first with flood water from the magnetic separator and finally with sprays of clean water. The drained medium goes to the correct medium tank (CM tank) while the rinsed medium goes to the diluted medium tank (DM tank). The washed coal is then crushed using a rolling ring crusher to a maximum size of 32 mm and transported to the thermal stockpile by conveyor belt 18-33 on the conveyor belt.18-15.
