The program, although focused on adolescents, is aimed at all ages. The website is full of information such as statistical data, intimate stories and numerous community service projects. The Meth Project's bold ad documents the downward spiral caused by the drug's use. Although some may find the Meth Project ads distasteful, they tell the story of the incredible power of meth and its effects on the human body. The advertising techniques used by the Meth Project to reach an audience are actually horrific. The Dig ad depicts a young woman who has open sores on her face and arms. We see blood on the young woman's fingertips and she scratches an open wound. The disturbing scene could make you believe it comes straight from a horror film. His eyes express fear, anxiety and distrust. There is an unmade bed in the background surrounded by dirty clothes. The room appears filthy, dirty and dilapidated. The scene takes on a chilling tone and evokes feelings of disgust and negativity. Looking at the image could make a person's skin dirty. There is nothing of sentimental value in the room, such as family photos or jewelry. The ad's caption reads: Will Meth Make Me Dig at My Own Skin? (Dig). These words seem to jump out of the picture and can stay in the mind for a long time. How Project Meth speaks to an audience can easily be discerned through the use of the age of its model. She appears to have once been a healthy person. The left side of the advert is in a troubled middle of the paper...and will work among the youngest; however, this can apply to a person of any age group. The Meth Project's goal is simple and profound: to prevent someone from trying meth for the first time. Their website is full of different types of advertisements. A person may feel slightly embarrassed by the way The Meth Project describes the use of this life-changing drug; However, the drug provides a quick and easy way to fall prematurely for most people who try it.
