    Stress is something that affects many people every day. Life is full of hassles, deadlines, frustrations and demands. For some people, stress is so common that it is a way of life. Stress can be very harmful and/or helpful. This could motivate you to meet a deadline and complete a task under pressure. Stress can also be very harmful, such as memory problems, mood swings, pain, and eating less or less. So, what is stress? Stress is a normal physical reaction that occurs when you feel threatened or upset. When you feel like you are in danger, whether real or imagined. Your body responds when stress arises and it's a way to actually protect yourself. Stress often helps people stay more focused and energetic. However, there is a time when stress can be very harmful and harm your health in many ways. How you respond to stress generally depends on the person. Some people become very nervous when stressed. This causes the “fight or flight” response to begin. This causes the sympathetic nerves in your brain and adrenal glands to release the signal, which releases a variety of chemicals that affect you in different ways. In some severe cases, this can lead to problems with memory and learning, as well as an increased risk of depression. Your body may also respond in a cardiovascular manner, which can lead to an increased heart rate and increased blood pressure.
