SOP FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING CENTER: Every individual has an ultimate goal which leads to the series of actions he or she undertakes to achieve said goal. My goal is to have a successful research career in a renowned R&D company or to pursue a teaching career in a renowned university in the environmental field. This fact drives me to pursue a doctorate as a future career in the field of environmental engineering. With increasing technological advancements, the risk of environmental degradation is enormous. Since it was realized that this leads to environmental degradation, various methods, studies and laws have been developed to address this problem. This has always intrigued and inspired me to study this topic. I believe that while studying this subject one cannot limit oneself to a specific field and one needs interdisciplinary studies to work in this field.
