    Stakeholders to Implement Strategic PlansThe Blytheville School District Diversity Strategic Plans will be available to all district members through the Blytheville School District website. It will also be accessible to any member of the school community upon request. Stakeholders involved in strategic diversity plans will consist of a combination of community leaders, parents, students and faculty members. Different meetings will be organized to allow all members to have their say in the development of this strategic diversity plan. Meetings will be guided by focused questions and research-based skills and procedures that will help stakeholders make the best possible decisions on behalf of learners.Stakeholder Committee MembersCommunity Leaders:1. Monte Hodges – Neighborhood business leader who believes all children have the ability to succeed. He is willing to cover the cost of potential flyers, bulletin boards and media relations.2. Jacquin Benson – He is a gifted young African American who has been serving the community for four years. He created an organization called “Healing In the Hood” based on a vision he had. He is a very proactive man and takes pride in taking care of children. He is also a positive influence and role model for young adults. He serves as a youth minister and mentor to young men. His famous quote is “Dream it, believe it, become it”. He is very involved in the community. He is also involved in school activities and programs and provides welcome insight into diversity issues.3. Pastor Strong - Leader of the largest church in the district. Our school district will provide our faculty, staff, administrators, students and parents with education and training that raises awareness of diversity issues. o Teachers will receive annual staff development on specific diversity topics, if deemed necessary by the central office. o Teachers will be required to take one (1) course from the AETN Ideas portal per semester on diversity and differentiated instructional strategies. o Teachers will need to describe how they will address diverse learners in their annual professional growth plan and weekly lesson plans. o Based on the annual training, staff members will write up their reflections on how the training helped drive change in the teaching and learning process, on which topics were not as helpful and on suggested courses that should be offered during next year's professional development..
