French has always been something that interested me since I was a child, as it is a big part of my life as many of my family members are French. I have always loved France and the French language and find it extremely fascinating, which has motivated my desire to do more than just "learn" the language. As my interest in French grew, so did my ability to use and implement it in my daily life. I do this by listening to French music, watching French television and reading French literature. I have visited France several times and as a result I have an extremely good knowledge of France and its culture. I was also very lucky to do a one-week internship at the Lycée Gabriel Fauré, in Annecy, because I would like to become a teacher in France. Anyone who knows me well realizes almost immediately my obsession with French and France. I see French as more than an academic subject, I see it as a pleasure of life, something that I really enjoy and a passion that I would like to pass on to others. I'm reading a book called 'An Apartment in Paris' which is currently a bestselling novel in France. In addition to indulging in French media, I extend my learning by setting up every device I own in French, making English a language I use solely to communicate with others, allowing my French to continually grow by having non-stop access to French. .
