Questions about the digital divideIntroductionWhat exactly is the “digital divide”? The digital divide refers to the fact that some parts of the population have a much better chance of benefiting from the new economy than others. When we discuss the use of "computing devices", the Internet and the World Wide Web, we do not think of individuals who do not have any of these devices that technology has provided to the majority of the population for a daily use. There is a huge gap in the number of people who can access the Internet and gather information, pay bills, socialize, manage their banking, and make purchases. These are basic functions that people use every day and others may not. In this report, we will discover information that must be taken seriously if we are to close the gap of the “digital divide”. The fact that the information age is the fastest ever in terms of revolution is quite alarming. This report will show the social, educational and economic aspects regarding the digital divide. Technology has the means and access to governments and local communities to provide information and communications technology (ICT) to all people. Competence is not worthy here because we need to find solutions that contribute to closing the gap in digital divide, by proposing policy initiatives aimed at reducing structural inequalities.EconomyThe economic resources of our country play a major role in the number of individuals capable of taking the plunge. digital divide.
