Essay / Destiny Depicted in Forrest Gump - 790
A general theme in Forrest Gump is destiny. We see it everywhere; in Jenny, in Lieutenant Dan, in the quill, in the box of chocolates, and even in Forrest himself. They gave much of the money they earned to Bubba's family so they wouldn't have to work to survive their entire lives. Forrest also gave Elvis ideas for dance moves and sparked inspiration for the famous bumper stickers and t-shirts with smiley faces.
