Essay / Radical Islam - 690
With over 30 Islamic terrorist attacks worldwide in September alone, something must be done about radical Islam. All terrorist attacks, from car bombings to chemical attacks, have serious impacts on people in immediately surrounding communities and on the world. In the United States, we consider terrorist attacks a major but fairly rare problem. In predominantly Islamic countries like Syria or Egypt, they are simply part of life. Those who blame the problems of Islam on the United States and other foreign policies must stop ignoring the ideology that most of these problems are within Islam itself, because they do not than add fuel to the fire by making it known that the United States is the root of the problem. Radical Islam will require us to cooperate with each other rather than fight against each other. The responsibility to solve this problem is a shared responsibility that requires the cooperation of different groups and not just the actions of a single group. This also comes into play in determining which organizations are responsible for which attacks and in severely punishing Muslim state governments if they are found to be behind any of these attacks...
