Diligence is another quality I learned from being a cashier. Management trusted me to effectively manage the feedback they got from their daily work without being micromanaged. This duty allowed me to do my job properly and diligently so that there were no errors with the store's funds. My salary also taught me how to manage cash, manage my money diligently, and budget reasonably. I was able to keep a budget and follow it through, a technique that has proven useful in my life. As much as the experience was enlightening and satisfying, it had its flaws. The inability to create a social group with my peers and have free time with my family was rare.
