Using micromorphology to study clay dispersion in sodic soils. Overview of studiesMicromorphological results from 3 studies are presented here. Which helps to understand clay dispersion and sodic soils in relation to micromorphology. The studies are as follows:1. Rasa Kimmo et al (2012) studied the soil properties and pore system of three vegetated BZs (subhorizon rich in soluble salt) managed differently on clay soil.2. Gunal and Ransom (2006) studied the orientation and increase of clay in clay-rich horizons and also observed the interaction between clay and the accumulation of pedogenic carbonates.3. Lebedeva et al (2009) in Russia studied the micromorphology of solonetz (natric horizon) species in micro-catenes at varying depths in 4 species, namely crusty, shallow, medium and deep solonetz. Main bodyIn the past, soil genesis and classification are the main focus for micromorphology. But nowadays the field has expanded and focuses on practical process inferences. In soil science, micromorphology has made a quantitative and qualitative contribution. Just like the quantitative study of pores, crust formation and qualitative research is the study of structural changes, root penetration, etc. Dispersed sol can occur in pores as discrete particles, crystalline coatings on pore walls, and crystals connecting pores. Dispersion is the separation of soil into unique particles depending on soil texture, clay type, soil organic matter, soil salinity and exchangeable cations and has an effect on the behavior and management of a soil . Thin sections of the soils were prepared from undisturbed samples, impregnated, prepared and analyzed under a petrographic microscope with polarized and cross-polarized light, and described according to FitzPatrick (1984...... middle of article.. ....e with Clay illuviation is replaced by plasma removal by a leaching mechanism The leaching mechanism is the downward movement of clay particles and forms clay-rich clay horizons at the level. of the subsoil due to the movement of plants and soils on the micro-chains and the rise of the water table, the natric horizon was affected from below by an additional supply of salts, although it also contributed to the soil microclimate with temperature, water content and aeration All these articles are worked on the micromorphology of soils Micromorphology allows to fully examine the arrangement of particles, matrix and. other components in thin section and also allows the study of the material within the sample, which retains its original position and composition..
