Macbeth has become fearless and arrogant because he feels safe in the witch...... middle of paper ......o puts Malcolm on the throne even more. Macduff must be the one to kill Macbeth so that everyone who was killed or injured by Macbeth can be avenged. Macduff must do well by and for others as well as for himself.Scene 8Macduff: Tell yourself, Macduff came out of his mother's womb/Ripped prematurely. (5.8.15-16) When Macbeth informs Macduff of the prophecy that Macbeth believes will protect him and allow him to maintain his hold on Scotland, Macduff now makes it known that he was not born of woman. The third piece of destiny is now complete; Macbeth can be killed. Macduff is assured that he can defeat Macbeth because he was not born of a woman. With this new knowledge, Macduff knows that he must be the one to kill Macbeth and secure Malcolm's right to the throne. Macduff kills Macbeth, being the only one who can do so and ensure the peace and prosperity of Scotland..
