Essay / To Not Repeat the Past: An Analysis of the Holocaust
Holocaust survivor Anne Frank once said: “If we endure all this suffering and there are still Jews left, when will will be finished, then the Jews, instead of condemned, will be cited as an example” (“Auschwitz concentration camps”). Throughout the Holocaust, millions of people died. Jews were put in ghettos before being interned in concentration camps. The concentration camps were cruel and killed large numbers of people. The ghettos were cramped, did not extend very far, and had horrible living conditions. The Holocaust was a gigantic slaughterfest, life was terrible for the Jews during the Holocaust. During the Holocaust, they were put on trains where they would soon be delivered to a concentration camp (“Auschwitz concentration camps”). The victims were taken to an anteroom, where they had to remove all their clothes completely naked. These men, women and children were then brought into a large room which resembled a large shower room ("Auschwitz concentration camps"). There were fake shower heads on the walls, when the doors closed a Nazi would pour Zyklon-B pellets into a window opening or through a crack in the walls which would eventually turn into poison one day. times in contact with air. It would be very deadly (“Auschwitz concentration camps”). The people sitting on the left were usually going to be killed, the whole system of mass murder depended on keeping this secret from its victims. If the victims had known that they were going to die, it would not be good (“Auschwitz concentration camps”). Meanwhile, on the ramp, Nazi doctors were searching the new arrivals for anyone they might want to experiment on (“Auschwitz concentration camps”). Their favorite choices were the twins and the dwarves. But if they... middle of paper ...... have opted out or are homeless. It was a simply sickening time for Jews in general, they were put through so much and it was ridiculously difficult for them to watch their own families get killed. It was even worse because they were so fragile and financially unstable that it was exhausting. This could very easily be considered one of the world's most tragic memories. This important lesson to remember when learning as an executive was to not repeat passes. History is notorious for repeating itself. In fact, there is a memorial statue in Boston Harbor made up of limbs extending from a ball of fire that says, "For those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it." It's strange and reminds us to support those who are different from us in terms of culture, mentality and beliefs so as not to fall victim to repeating the past. ?ModuleID=10005263
