    At the beginning, there was light... or maybe not. Perhaps it was darkness only disturbed by a big bang. Maybe the beginning hasn't happened yet. Maybe there is nothing and it's all a big illusion. Scientists, philosophers and humans in general have been asking these questions since the moment they were able to think for themselves. Galileo, one of the most renowned scientists in history, didn't start out asking these questions. He started by asking questions like, “Why do doctors have to know everything?” Indeed, at the time - before he was anyone even vaguely important, he was studying to become a doctor. However, given his potential, it would not have been a complete loss to the scientific community if he had become Doctor Galileo. The truth is that Galileo was one of the smartest and most important scientists to ever ponder the paradox that is our universe. The beginning – the big bang – for Galileo took place on February 15, 1564 in Pisa, Italy. He was a short, stocky baby with tufts of red hair. He was the eldest of an aristocratic family of moderate wealth. Growing up, he aspired to join the Church Order, but his parents hoped he would become a doctor. Honoring his parents' wishes, he was sent to study medicine at the University of Pisa, but soon discovered that he had both a talent and a passion for mathematics and philosophy. He soon abandoned medicine and decided to follow his two passions. However, in 1585 a lack of money forced him to abandon his university studies and tutor students in mathematics for four years. In 1589 he had a stroke of luck and was hired to lecture in Pisa where he remained happily for three years. In the middle of his paper, he lost his last work, "Dialogue Concerning Two New Sciences", (a book on mechanics) in Germany because he was no longer allowed to publish any of his writings. work in his country of origin, Italy. In 1638 he became blind and four years later, on January 8, 1642, he died. He was seventy-seven years old. Although he is dead and gone, his legacy lives on.
