OBJECTIVE OF THE REPORTThe main objective of the report is to identify the impact of national culture and organizational culture from the business perspective. In this current scenario, in order to explore and examine the impact of national culture on the business, I will use Hofstede's cultural dimensions model and analyze the impact of organizational culture. A brief review of the organizational cultures of two existing companies is also provided. IMPACT OF NATIONAL CULTURE Cultures make countries look exceptional. Each country has varied cultural actions and cultural customs. Culture further refers to the beliefs and morals of individuals in the country. Culture also includes people's way of thinking and their understanding of the world and their personal lives. The Impact of an Organization Culture and cultural norms are major determinants of behaviors and with increasing global and cross-cultural connectivity, we cannot escape the reality that communication problems and interpersonal conflicts will thus increase as the multicultural workforce where people from different cultures work together, which will have a lot of impact on them. It is therefore essential to understand the influence of national culture in an organization. Professor Geert Hofstede Seminal Work identified general factors that characterize value systems in different national cultures, including those of software and system developers, by applying statistical cluster analysis. The analysis was based on questionnaires from more than 50 countries, with each country indexed with a score for each dimension. These dimensions are:1. Power distance2. Individualism3. Masculinity4. Based on the above assessment, here are the few recommendations that can be beneficial for the business under discussion. • All employees should be treated equally in the organization. Respect is based on seniority and not necessarily on competence, skills or knowledge. Establish clear instructions and procedures for employees.• Deploy senior management to communicate and make announcements to general staff (lower levels).• Every company should ideally build a lasting relationship with everyone.• As the culture is traditional and that religious people should not be driven away by this and embrace them even in the workplace. People should be inclined to work in groups/teams and contribute to achieving business objectives..
