When we confess, the priest represents our brothers and sisters in Christ and he also represents Christ. My feelings about confession have changed because now I realize that the more I confess, the more relief my soul will have. I'm going to start thinking about confession in a more positive way. I will no longer be ashamed or afraid before I leave. I know that after confession I will be relieved of the burden of my sins and I will be on the right path to redemption.
