In recent times, health care has been a widely debated issue in the United States. Some argue that a universal health care system would reduce costs and improve access to care. Others believe it would cost too much and reduce the quality of care. Some also think that we must develop a new health system adapted to the problems of our country. Until we reach an agreement, we will remain stuck with the broken health care system we have today. The main argument for a universal health care system is the fact that the number of uninsured U.S. residents has increased to more than 45 million. This alone shows the growing importance of new health care legislation. Too few Americans are getting the health care we need under current law. Universal healthcare would also improve the healthcare system as a whole by eliminating unnecessary inefficiencies such as duplicate paperwork, claim approval, insurance submission, etc.....
