Today's young generation is concerned about their looks and the trending fashion in the market. Fashion has become part of youth and it affects people's lives. This generation wears their best in accessories and clothing in an effort to be accepted or recognized within their peer groups. This teenager's fashion tends to change at the drop of a hat. What was popular yesterday might be considered out of fashion today. This type of change and concern regarding the appearance of young people has caused concern among the older population who are uncomfortable with the trendy style of young people (Conger, 1991). To be able to understand the reasons why teenagers are very concerned about their looks, one must understand the factors that determine the trendy look among the teenage population. The appearance of the younger generation will continue to change depending on the trendy look of the moment. Main Essay The younger generation pays a lot of attention to their appearance for several reasons; many teenagers strive for their outward appearance in order to make a statement among their peers. Some use clothing to express a personal statement about their style, their financial situation, or even their taste in clothing and accessories. By dressing in a particular way, you will express your personality and preferences. Wearing items that fall outside of these boundaries makes them feel like they have changed personality as well. Fashion is like a brand that most of these young people would like to identify with. The fact that they are identified by a certain type of trendy look sets them apart as exceptional and confident in themselves and the decision they make. Additionally, part of the younger generation is more interested in what they wear, with the feeling that it won't be.... ... middle of paper ...... generation identifies. Modern society has come to adopt the modern trend, which makes young people or younger generation care a lot about their looks.
