  • Essay / Fire Protection Review Plan - 1012

Fire Protection Review PlanFire protection plan can be defined as a process in which people within a company use all means and methods available to prevent fires and avoid the damage and challenges that fire can cause. . There are many causes of fire, including electricity, gas and cigarettes. For the firefighting process to be effective, firefighting equipment must be issued to community members so that they can use them in the event of a fire. This equipment includes different types of fire extinguishers. They contain carbon dioxide, water, dry powder, foam, hose reels, and wet fire hydrant risers, among other substances (Vincent 2007, p. 351-353). Before any construction is carried out by civil engineers, a review of actions in the event of fire must be carried out (Diamantes 2005). This is carried out by firefighting services in order to prevent future destruction that could be caused by fire. When surveying the site, roads leading to the construction area should be well constructed to accommodate the passage of vehicles, which could be used to fight the fire in the event of an outbreak. At the time of the review, the contractor and property owner should be aware of the benefits of the review plan. The planning process is a means by which a systematic order of fire precautions is established to achieve the desired goals and objectives. When implementing the fire prevention planning process, various steps must be taken into consideration. An individual must have the purpose of the master plan in mind to carry out the planning process. This keeps the person goal-oriented and makes the plan a sustainable initiative at a reasonable cost. For example, the expense of installing firefighting equipment requires...... middle of paper...... destruction of the fire. The ideas discussed above are essential when anyone wants to construct a building. Every developer must take into consideration the fire prevention rules and guidelines set out by the government and other stakeholders in the field.
