What can you do to strengthen and improve the teaching profession in Clayton County? I have a passion for teaching and am fully dedicated to improving the teaching profession in Clayton County. The goal of teaching and learning should be to provide students with the opportunity to develop as productive citizens, to have the ability to contribute to the economic development of the world, and to thrive in this diverse society and evolving. Improving the teaching profession begins with finding creative ways to provide our students with a world-class education. I can strengthen the teaching profession by continuing to support and train new and seasoned teachers throughout the year. Teachers leave the profession because they are overwhelmed by the whole process of teaching and learning. My job is to mentor and support these teachers by providing them with research-based strategies, providing them with quality teaching models, and providing them with a viable program they can follow to ensure their academic success. Teachers need individual time to hone their craft and providing them with support will enable them to become that world-class teacher that we
