Global warming has many negative effects on society. First, the economy will eventually be affected. We may not see it now, but in the not-so-distant future it will become a reality. Fossil fuels make up a huge part of the economy. These are objects formed from a variety of dead plants and animals. Some examples of fossil fuels are coal, fuel oil or natural gas (“fossil energy”). If humans continue to use natural resources like fossil fuels, which cause much of the global warming problem, we will run out. When this happens, commodities such as oil will become not only scarce, but extremely valuable. This will affect the economy to the extent that the oil region will suffer, which will also cause other directly related areas to suffer. The fact that oil is in danger is just one example of how the lack of fossil fuels will affect our future.
