The Great Plague was a pandemic that killed many people, and to people of ancient times, the plague was tantamount to a painful death; it was torture. As a result, many people categorize "the Great Plague" as a catastrophe that caused enormous damage in Europe, but without this epidemic we would not have experienced substantial changes that would lead us to the modern times we know. Today. an epidemic that killed a third of the population in Europe. It was a scourge originating from the arid plains of Central Asia and traveling along the Silk Road. From then on, fleas living on rats, which were usually found on merchant ships, carried it. There were three types of plague: bubonic plague, this was an infection of the lymph nodes and the symptoms were muscle cramps, fever, swelling and convulsions; pneumonic plague, known for its cough, often accompanied by blood and whose symptoms were fever, chest pain and shortness of breath; septicemic plague, this plague was an infection of the blood and some of the symptoms were low blood pressure, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, bleeding....
