Culture describes how things are and acts as a lens through which the world is seen. Culture is a system of shared beliefs, values, customs and behaviors. School culture is based on the people who participate in it. Each school has a different phenomenon or mentality of school life. All countries are very diverse in terms of religion, language, ethnicity and culture. Now I will talk about the comparison of my Indian school and my Colombian college. It is difficult to say which system is better. Both education systems have their own advantages and disadvantages. In the next few paragraphs I will discuss some similarities and some differences. The flag ceremony is a common practice in India where students and teachers salute the national flag once a week. The goal is to create a feeling of loyalty. I found that an average amount of Canadian public spending is devoted to education. In my opinion, the difference between the two countries appears in the conditions and cultural background of the two countries. Canada is a developed country, so its education system has many advantages that we lack in India. Here I argue that co-ed schools are better than single-sex schools. In India, most schools are single-sex. The unconscious reason for my statement is the fact that single-sex schools fail to establish your confidence and ability to interact with the opposite sex. I studied at a single-sex school in my home country, but now I'm at a co-ed college in Colombia. Personally, I will support mixed schools. Another very strong aspect of this argument is that when we are with girls and boys our age, we learn about different types of ethos. Noting that many schools and colleges in India still practice gender discrimination. Although in Canada, the admission application for girls is the same as for boys.
