Recommendation ReportI recently learned that due to the unprecedented success of your programs and your commitment to student learning and working in the community, your welding program at Niagara College received a grant. of $5,000 and, as a student, I would like to make a recommendation to invest the money in creating a new part of your program where we can put the pieces together with a small group of people and find out what that it would be I like welding on a construction site. To achieve this, the main equipment I recommend purchasing is new welding machines that are lightweight, easy to install on a new job site and can be used anywhere with an outlet nearby. . I would also advise not investing in outside welding booths and investing in 3 steel beams with clamps for a more hands-on feel. Objective. The reason I recommend this new welding program is because most students have never welded outdoors. Many variables change when welding in elements and students need to know what to change or what to do when welding in different weather. Warm, sunny day - Weld in thinner, breathable clothing under your welding equipment, take more water breaks and stay hydratedSnow - Dress warmly under welding equipment, preheat metal if cold, higher amperage. Rain - do not weld in the rain at high level of electric shock. By knowing what it looks like, they can be better prepared and know what to do. They won't be at risk if they follow what they're supposed to do and won't have a bad experience. Equipment and work space. To learn more about the construction site, consider that there should be no stands outside. Figure 4ConclusionThe existence of this new program would be a major benefit to the welding program and the students. There will also be enough money left over to invest in more great ideas like this.
