Essay / Genre of the month - 687
Think about it: you will be able to read a new type of book every month. A new adventure running through your mind and trying to think of what will happen next. Or a climax of mystery swirling in your head as you guess who the culprit is. It's not fun. It's something I do called "Genre of the Month." I started doing it in 5th grade. I didn't really like the idea, but when it finally started, the stories just kept popping into my head and flowing, and I couldn't stop my imagination from soaring. You may be wondering why should I start doing “Genre of the Month?” Well, the most important thing is that you can experience all the different categories of literature so that you are not limited to just fiction books. You can also broaden your mind and better understand adventure, life, facts, culture and love. Some people might say, "The time you spend reading a book focused on a certain genre could be spent learning many other things that can improve your future." » This activity is fun because you can try all kinds of writing to help you improve your future. I don't just read fiction books. Many people only read fiction books because they think they can understand them more than other books. And so they stick to easy reading. Using the “Genre of the Month” approach can help you get started on the path to a broader imagination. One of the most effective genres to start with is Adventure because they grab your attention from the first chapter and always prove to be a page-turner. After you finish your first book, it's up to you to choose the next genre to read and so on. This is probably the hardest part before choosing a book. By choosing gender you just won half...... middle of paper ...... by accepting things he couldn't do before. Plus, reading is fun and can take up some of your free time after school or during school. Half the battle in reading is choosing what type of book you want to read, but if you read a certain genre every month, the battle is already half over. “Kind of the month” is a skill I learned when I was in 5th grade. You don't have to be in 5th grade to know that there's nothing not to like about reading. Reading is a relaxing and effective way to have fun, relax, calm down, get away from all the problems happening in your life. You put yourself in someone else's shoes for a while, leaving yourself behind. You learn new things, unconsciously improve your vocabulary and form new opinions. It can be informative, fun, exciting, scary, funny, whatever you want. It is a very moving experience.
