    There were, however, some disadvantages to being in this country. Once I arrived in the United States, my grandmother passed away and we were close. It was a major dilemma because I knew I couldn't go back to Honduras but I felt like I needed to see her. This is something I had to deal with after his passing. These kinds of things happen and there's not much we can do to change the outcome of such a thing. One day I will see her again and I can't wait for that day to come. Another negative thing about this country is that it lacks everything about Honduras, other than the security aspect. I miss my friends, the food, the job I had there (mechanic), the showers in the river and especially the coffee. The coffee here is not as good as the one in Honduras. Finally, as an immigrant, you receive papers and they limit you on many things. It's sometimes difficult with these papers, but they keep me legally in this country. These are things I had to leave behind to improve my life and make it something better. From time to time it's a struggle but I know I'll get through it
