What is HRM?HRM (human resource management) deals with a wide range of issues, it is difficult to determine the exact definition as it varies from one organization to another. Storey (2007, p. 3) describes it as “two main forms of existence. One is in the form of speeches and academic activities. The other comes in the form of practice in organizations.” Training and development as well as team management are important concepts of HRM. This essay will explore how these two HRM concepts contribute to organizational effectiveness. Training and DevelopmentPrice (2011, p. 457) states that training is “oriented towards planned development rather than planned development”. rather than being an isolated activity, unrelated to the organization's goals." Training is more common than learning in organizations because its value is easier to measure. Learning styles are not only a subject, but rather a range of concepts that involve modalities, preferences and strategies (Egan, 2013 Learning styles can encourage learning and talent development, as they can bring many benefits to people). a business, such as motivation, creativity, greater productivity, etc. On the other hand, it is more difficult to measure and see the effects of this process, a survey report by CIPD advisor McGurk. (2013, p. 9) stated that “they have encountered difficulties in testing or measuring the effectiveness of the learning and talent development activity”. the company, they must ensure that their learning program covers the company's objectives and priorities.
