Application of Memory StrategiesMemory is an internal journal or account of a previous circumstance or experience that a subject has encountered. A person's ability to retain and store mentally retained impressions and information also defines memory. Although information is not stored naturally in our brains, the way one or more theories about memory and forgetting are applied can help improve the way a subject remembers. Memory is essential to our daily lives. People have to deny who they are, they have to recognize other people's faces, and they also have to remember how to maneuver and how to communicate. There are different models of memory composition and functioning. Although there is great diversity between models, they all consider memory as a method of processing data. People don't record information frankly; they perform a form of processing as data is stored, organized, and retrieved over a period of time. The traditional three-stage memory model is one of the four main memory models. Traditional three-stage memory involves three different storage boxes to hold and process data for different lengths of time (Wiley, 2000-2010). We can truly understand how information is changed as it is encoded, stored and later retrieved. These three courses can be set adequately to a computer's memory. The first step to memorizing a fraction of data is coding. It is the process of converting data into neural signals that will be stored in memory. Moreover, it is first a matter of introducing the data into his brain. The second step is to store it. Storage is the function of retaining neural encoded data over time. The encoded data is then stored in the brain. In computers, information is stored on a disk or hard drive which is in the middle of a sheet of paper......t. This will erase the data from your long-term memory and compress it into your short-term memory. So, if your test scores are not adequate, the strategies listed in this report will help you improve your results. In conclusion, although information is not simply stored in our brains, how we go about applying one or more theories of memory is crucial. and forget. By correctly applying these theories and strategies, it can help improve one's memory for two main reasons. We must first store, organize and retrieve. But the most important thing is how we record them, how we store them and how we retrieve them. Memory is fundamental for everyone in their daily life. ReferenceWorks CitedD. W. (2004).
