All these policies have essentially set the parameters for the growth of trade unionism; protection of workers' rights; settlement of labor disputes, etc. After 2002, no labor policies were introduced although a number of developments took place. Pakistan has more than 70 labor laws, we will discuss only a few of them in this report and compare them with similar laws. in India.
