Cellini was an artist and a goldsmith by characteristic, which he himself thought had no equal. He believed he could do something better than anyone else in his profession. This is seen in his work which he made smaller than his teacher. Cellini was very narcissistic in his approach to his work. The only person he thought was equal or superior to him was the great Michelangelo. Cellini also threatened other artists so he could get contracts he felt he deserved. Pitti, a merchant by trade, was a merchant and very successful in his craft. Although he was perhaps better at acting than at being a salesman. He was never afraid of not having a way to finance his business. He acquired the money either from his senior friends or through his betting trials. Bunaccorso, however, served his republic in a greater position than Cellini. Pitti, however, did what he wanted during many adventures, but he always acted in the service of Florence, occupying numerous positions within the government. Cellini was too rebellious to act in the same capacity as Bunaccorso. Coming back to Cellini, he was always looking to get the best commissions using various means to acquire these contracts.
