    The first president ever identified as George Washington made history. He was a man who had many early accomplishments to accomplish. Washington was a first in many ways, such as participating in a war that lasted six years. It was a pretty horrible war. As the first president to take power, he left a considerable mark on history, which led to the love many people had for him. Born to parents Augustine Washington and Mary Ball on February 22, 1732 in Westmoreland, Virginia. Washington was raised as a “Virginia gentleman.” He was also the eldest child of Augustine and Mary. He was a young boy raised in respect, morals, good manners and knowledge. While still a teenager, he grew up growing tobacco and preparing wood on his father's plantation. But most of his youthful years were spent on another plantation called Rappahannock River, near Fredericksburg, Virginia. The rest of his childhood was unknown and misunderstood. Washington had little education as a child, as if schools and teachers weren't that important once upon a time. His early primary education took place at a nearby parish school. He didn't receive much more education once he became a teenager. He did not go to college due to lack of money after his father's death in 1743. Although he did not receive a formal education like many others, he chose to s self-educate by reading. Its main subjects ranged from agriculture to military arts to political subjects. Later, in early adulthood, he began learning a new trade which involved learning the geometric principles necessary for surveying. As a young adult (around 17 years old) he obtained a place as a county surveyor and was on the path to a successful, profitable and continuing career......... middle of paper ......as the first to sign the Constitutional Convention, the Judiciary Act of 1789, the bill authorizing the creation of a Department of Foreign Affairs, the Coinage Act making the dollar the official currency of the United States and the Naval Act of 1794. Other factors in his "firsts" where he never lived in the White House as it was actually built after his death. Furthermore, once he died, he was the only one to include in his will the liberation of the slaves who belonged to him. George Washington was a great man and deserved all the recognition because he was the beginning of our nation. He shaped it into what it became after several decades. He was a successful general and president and the people loved him. As president, he made mistakes, but overall he managed to become one of the greatest. He managed to become a great president and a great brand in our history.
